I recieved at call from this number last night. It was a man, who was very hard to understand, telling me he was from MICROSOFT and that my computer had over 1000 error reports. That I needed to get to my computer and do what he said. I told him I was able to get to my computer(it was in the shop) he got his "manager" on the phone easier to understand but still had a very thick Indian speach. The manager told me that his name is Joseph and that there was two people in Africa using my IP adress and was stealing all my info that I need to get to my computer, and do exactly what he said. I told him that I could not, my computer is elsewhere. He called me 4 times and even told me that it was free. That i was paying to much to have it fixed. I called my phone company and they told me it is more or less a scam.

I just received a call listed as Private Caller, telling me my computer was sending many error messages. The thickly accented man claimed to be from Microsoft. He wanted me to log onto my computer and he would tell me what to do to fix the problem. I asked for his phone number and said I would call him back. He was Quite insistent that he help me, even though I said I wasn't having any difficulty with my computer. The number he gave was (979) 589-4189.
