I'm glad I checked this site after finding 979 845 0425 on my phone, noted "Bryan TX," and did not simply call back. The Former Students Assn badgered me so much for donations that I stopped giving to them long ago. I now donate to the Corps of Cadets Assn, which doesn't pester you and, in my opinion, employs the funds reasonably constructively. Unlike the FSA.
hey "Aggie". You don't act like an Aggie; not with an attitude towards other like that... The point to it is; the Association shouldn't stoop to the levels it is (telemarketing) to receive money for what it is (to support current and former students). It's there to help, not harass. Typical of what I've seen firsthand when I attended school there. Nothing but overpriced gimmick with the gimmick being "Good old boy" spirit.... I have more good old boy in my pinkie than the entire school has ever had.
Just some helpful advice, if you don't like them calling every month ( which they have to if you don't just say no) simply answer the phonecall and let them know you don't want them to continue contact with you. They will put you on a different list and thereby delete your number.
The money that you donate to the FSA is not in their fund, it goes into the University fund that is cleared and renewed every year typically used for smaller projects but nonetheless projects the Univ. clears.
Hey "aggie" what you said to "anti aggie" is about as 'ANTI-aggie" as it comes. How bout YOU use what's in between your fukin ears and be considerate... You must've come from an affluent family thinking that it's ok to call someone on a Friday evening after work to beg for money. I don't know about your spoiled little [***], but most of us have to work for a living and don't like just handing over money like its free.
I happen to agree with "anti aggie" as far as the telemarketer calls goes. I'm an aggie (class of 08) and I fully sympathize with anti aggie's gripe. I spent enough of my money there that was indeed MY money. Not Mommy and Daddy's.
