They claim to be with the credit card companies and want to lower your rates, but they want you to give them CC#, EXP Date and code on the back of the card. Visa and Mastercard both say they would never ask for this info. They are THIEVES and SCAMMERS. If you give them the info they will steal from you!!!!!!!!
These scammers are all over the place. Please be smart with everything you do. Whenever someone called me about a something I supposed to win or a such question. Whenever they asked you your SSN or DOB asked them to tell you instead of answering them. If they said there you're the bank you currently banking with, you ask them the direct number to the caller, and you call your local bank and ask them and verify the number that was give to you by the caller.
