STOPABORTION tried calling my home telephone number. My policy for unwanted calls is: Just let call ring through to your voicemail because they won't leave a message. This is a sure way to know this is an unsolicited call for 99.9% of scammers, telemarketers, other solicitors, surveys, etc.
Called today around 4pm. CID said Raleigh NC. I don't answer callers I don't recognize or who don't ID themselves. Lately I am getting calls daily where CID is a city. I don't answer those either. No message was left.
Online reports about this number indicate a number of different scenarios and caller IDs. All of this suggests that the caller is a scam artist. Beware!
This is the second time that I have received a call from this number (August 16th at 1:38 pm and August 12th at 12:44 pm). Never leave a message and caller ID says STOPABORTION. I am so sick and tired of these scam calls - they are in the increase again and I continue to block ALL numbers that call my landline. When will this BS be stopped? This is my home office number and I am constantly interrupted by these ridiculous [***] that call my number during conference calls and other important business discussions. Putting your number on the Do Not Call list doesn't help at all.
