I just got a call from them. Couldn't understand what they were talking about. They mentioned something about social security or something. I told them not to call back.
This number calls when somebody has submitted your phone number to an agent for the purpose of filing a claim against Social Security. It is not an 800 number or a telemarketer. They get your number from it being submitted to their web site. It doesn't mean that you personally submitted it, it could be a typo or it could be due to somebody you are familiar with that uses your number as a primary contact or secondary contact number. If you have not made this request and do not know anybody that would have you can have your name and number removed while you are on the phone with them if you instruct them to do so and you give them the time to make the necessary notations.
