Called my landline phone, which is on the Do Not Call list. Noisy connection. Man identified himself as "Ed from Windows" and said he was calling to help me stop the error and danger messages on my computer. He asked twice if I was at my computer, and I said NO twice, and told him I don't use Windows. He hung up.
Land line - man with heavy thick accent - I asked if this was a scam call and told him not to call and take my phone number off his call list - I told him I was hanging up and was going to report the call - he swore at me and said he would just f___ me harder - I hung up
This is a computer virus scam. This number is just a spoof number. If you call it back it says it has been disconnected. These people are trying to scam people into letting them take control of their computer and steal personal information. If they call, have fun with them and lead them on. Report them if possible, but since the number is a dud this may not be possible.
