This number belongs to a Maria who tells people she works with the court system. She leaves plain pieces of paper without a letter head, or address, that says, "notice of a summons/complaint". And the letter states if you do not make payment arrangements by calling this number-9895290944, your wages will be garnished. Please be aware for this could be a scam to get money. When you call the number it does not say attorney Maria, or court name, or business name.....its just a regular voice mail. A cell phone. ***this is a scam***

A "plain piece of paper without a letter head or address, that says notice of a summons/complaint" is not legal. If you actually had a court summons, a process server would just show up and give it to you. It would have a docket number, as well as the court you were to report to, as well as information on the plaintiff and the reason for the summons. I would report this to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General. You may also wish to file a report with your local police department also - I'm sure you're not the only person "Maria" is trying to scam.
This "Maria" left a letter at my mom's house with no information other than a phone number, her name and that I was being called into court. It also said if I did not contact them my wages could be garnished.
I moved in November. My address is up to date and while I do owe on some bills, everyone is aware of my updated information and where I work and live. Plus, I've done my taxes as well which has all of my information. If this was a true "court ordered" act, they would do a lot more than leave a letter at my mom's house.
This "Maria" person has left a letter at my mom's house last year and this year. They must have forgot. It was one piece of paper, taped to the door with absolutely no information other than a typed in phone number, Her name was written and no court information, no attorney information and no information regarding what this was all about. When called it was a personal phone and she said she did not know which attorney, which court system or what this was in reference to. She would not give a business address or any attorneys name and asked if she could meet us at my home. I have nothing outstanding and am very suspicious of this behavior.
If this was a true "court ordered" act,it would at least have the information of the court or an attorney to contact. Why the secrecy? All my information is up to date.
This number belongs to a Marie who tells people she works with the court system. She first left a plain pieces of paper without a letter head, address, or business phone that says, "notice of a summons/complaint". This time she tore a piece of paper out of a steno tablet and left a hand written note. To cal (989) 529-0944. She will not even say what court it is supposed to be in. This is a scam and I am not leaving a message on a personal phone.
