received a phone call, caller ID said unavailable. Looking at other people who received calls from this number, it is AMVETS. they did not leave a message. Don't need them calling me anymore.
No identification and obviously caller didn't realize call was answered by answering machine. Recorded half of the message saying "it's a good running van you know. If we work together we can help each other out." There was a lot of voices in background like a call center. Very strange
This is for the Amvets. I gave money to them several years ago because I felt it was for a good cause but they have called and harassed me ever since and will not take no for an answer. I have asked them to remove my name from their list and they will not do it - since they are for a charity they don't have to. Very frustrating!
Try calling 1-800-327-4302. There is a menu to select from and there is an option to add your phone # to their Do Not Call List. I hope it works - Good luck!
