On Monday August 29th, someone called me trying to scam me by saying that I needed my internet security updated. I played along and ended up trolling the scammer constantly with a false ID number when he was asking for one. He then started getting frustrated and asked, "Are you kidding?" And then I said, "Just so you know, I know you're trying to scam me, so don't call me back, bye". I then hung up. However, the next day was not the end of it.
Although I had added the number on a rejected calls list, I looked at my call history. And I noticed that he had attempted to call me ten to fifteen times on Tuesday, even though the number gets immediately blocked with a "reject call" message that pops up on my phone. It was starting to freak me out, but fortunately the person has stopped. I also looked up the phone number, and it's a home phone from someone in MI. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
