Call from "microsoft support center" - woman with an Indian accent - said they were getting malicious code from my computer and that it would eventually shut down my computer. I told them I didn't have a computer (a lie) and then hung up on them. The phone companies have the capability to stop these robo calls (Consumers Report is working on this) and shut down these scam operators.
Called early in the morning saying they were from Windows Tech Support, I told them I wasn't giving them any information and hung up. I have had these calls before, they are a big scam!!
They called twice today. Awnsered the second time. Apparently they were saying something about being sued by CRA for taxes or something. I Asked if they had anyone that spoke french and they said they didnt. Spoke a bit more to them and they eventually hung up or something.
