This person, who I believe is really named Rhonda Garigen from MI, is impersonating an author on the web (saying she's doing "research"), contacting men on dating sites, and sending them nude pics. I contacted the real author, and she is livid that her reputation and livelihood is being affected by this scam artist. She has hired an attorney and contacted the FBI to go after this Garigen person (posing as author Riley Ford). For any men who've had dealings with this person, you should contact the author to give her your information. She and her attorneys are compiling a case against this person for identity theft, cyber-crimes, criminal defamation, libel and slander charges. From what the author said, many men have contacted her and are now helping her with this once they realized what is going on. They've given the author and her attorneys Garigen's phone number (989-671-7696) and email addresses, along with copies of their correspondence. So there's a pretty good case building about her right now. Not to mention how she's misled all these men. Too bad that's not a crime, too. What a psycho.
She is now living in Port Charlotte, FL as of September. She was using the alias of Riley Lynn Thomas to me. I figured her out after a couple of phone conversations. Her MO is the same as the ones mentioned. She has admitted she lied about her name and has given the one mentioned in the other post. I'm still in contact with her and playing alone to see how long she will stay in contact. She is using a different number now. Our contact began when she contacted me on the POF website.
This time the number is (941) 763-2179, and the name, yes, is Riley Lynn Thomas. Claims education in Texas; career in education and as middle school principal in Michigan; husband died about fifteen years ago. But no one of that name is found on the web. Same stuff as above: sudden interruptions in phone calls; mother had heart attack--and a triple by-pass--the day before we were supposed to meet. The unsolicited nude, claimed to be a selfie, tipped me off: both hands visible, so no hand was free to take it, right? Some pretty woman's pictures are being used as cover.
Oh, yes: claims Port Charlotte, FL as residence; the number, above, traces to a woman of another name entirely in Sarasota, and to a Riley C. Thomas, deceased man in TN.
