Caller who sounded Indian said he was from Microsoft and my computer was downloading dangerous viruses and resending them. Asked if I knew this. I said my son-in-law is a forensic computer specialist with a police department (he really is) and I would have him check it. Caller said a technician could not fix the problem but that he could.
I told him that I would never respond to such a call and hung up. I wished, after reading about the exact scam online, that I had wasted much more of his time but it's my time too.
I usually don't answer calls I don't recognize but had just ordered parts online for church bus door and thought it might be related. Shame on me for even taking the time to answer.

Recieved an almost verbatim call from this number. Told him I knew it was a scam He threatened to keep calling me. I told him caller ID will block him from now on.
Got a call at midnight - same as above (sounded Indian).He said something was wrong with my windows & I just said...how dare you call me at midnight about anything...he said again it was an important message about my windows and that he needs to call any time of the day or night to tell me. I hung up on him. I only answered the call because my husband was sleeping and I didn't want it to wake him up. This is ridiculous that they think they can call you at midnight and it's alright.
Received call this morning at 6:30 advising me of the same information above; was an Indian man who was VERY persistent. I got off the phone by telling him that I had to get my child on the bus for school.
Just got a call from this number with an Indian speaking man. Said something about microsoft downloading viruses. He said they have been trying to email me this information but because they did not get a response, he decided to call instead. When he asked if I was aware of this, I said no, and he said" oh my gosh…" I told him I had to go. Was in the middle of feeding my baby. he said he would call back in an hour. I'm going to block this number. Should have checked here first.
