Received call (VM) from this number saying it was Erwin from MedEx, calling about my BCBSM policy. Seeing what others have posted, I'm not returning the call.
Caller named Lisa stated she was calling about my Blue Cross policy. I called back and received a recorded message from "Med Accept"(???) to stay on the line.
Call came from the Grayling area and I am not aware of any Blue Cross offices there.
I suspect they are trying to sell supplemental Med Insurance
Blue Cross has teamed with MEDEX. What is this you say one of the reasons your rates are so high. This is a legitimate 3rd Party hired by blue cross to come into your home at your convinance and ask you all about your health in detail and check out your living conditions and tell you programs to help you. IF you had been in a nursing home this basically would be called a home inspection. Funny I don't see anything like this being available in my evidence of coverage. But may some people would find this helpful. I really don't... this is why I have a doctor not an insurance company really...
