Who called from 9897263052

Would like to know who this is call everyday, at times I cannot answer because I am at work. I answered this morning and no one responded.

Same thing here-multiple calls, every so many minutes.  Very annoying.

I got a call from this number and they refused to say who they were, just that they wanted me to stay on the line for an agent.

So I hung up.

Another call.  This time I blocked them.

Agent: Stay on the line for an agent
Me: who is this?
Agent: Stay on the line for an agent (said in a different tone of voice)
I repeated that continually and the agent repeated his comment back until they patched me through.

Actual agent: Hello "What the hell"
Me: who is this?
Actual agent: this is [whatever] from [whatever]. you recently applied for information about education...
Me: why couldn't the other man say this?
Actual agent: The other agent was a recording
Me: Then why did he interact with me?
Actual agent: .... recording

I figured out what it was though.  I applied for a job through monster and I ***ALWAYS*** decline the "education request" part.  Some agents just don't care and call anyway.

They can't call me back cos I blocked them but... if they try from another number I'll just ask where they claim I applied through
