This is the Washington DC offices of Congressman Doug Collins, Ga. who was calling. It is the general call out number for members of Congress or their representatives, it is not a call back number for a specific Congressmen.
When it rang the first time, I picked up the phone, but all I heard was beeping as if a fax was coming. I didn’t answer the second time it rang and a 30-second voice mail was left. It was nothing but the beeping sound.
5/4/2010 Just got a call from this nos on my cell. I answered and a woman with a plaintive voice asked me if this was the Tennessee emergency something or other. I said no and she hung up. No need for me to waste my time and minutes calling the number back so googled it. Wow! I didn't expect to find so many weird reports associated with this number.
It's all good - just about setting up times and dates for meeting your congressman and / or going on tours of the White House. Nothing creepy or scary - really.
