Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. So your best bet is a call blocking device or phone to stop the calls. Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Woman saying her name is Susan Samuel and she is from IRS Criminal Investigation Dept. Gave my case # as SY115656NJ. Gave me an ultimatum that if I do not pay $3656 immediately, I will be arrested for 2 years. Very bad communication skills with all intent to scare you. When I asked why I didnot receive documents by mail, the [***] told me twice a person from IRS visited my house with lot of documents and there was nobody t home.
I googled the number and got to this useful link. Sounds Indian. I called this number 202-239-2136 four times in the past 5 minute - first time she answered and disconnected the call when I showered my choicest words on her and thereafter calls went to voice mail.
Just got a phone call from this Indian lady, calling herself Susan Samuel. She threatened if I don't pay $3156 to her through the phone immediately, I will be arrested in 2 hours and jailed for 2 years. Losing all properties, house, cars... I asked her why not sent the notice to me through the mail. She said it's confidential and said a IRS person came to my house twice with lot of documents but nobody at home. I told her, of course nobody at home, because I have to go to work to make money and pay tax. I asked her to tell me when you will send another person and I will wait him at home. Then she said, pay me now or you will go to jail. I told her, this is America, you do not send anyone to jail like that, even IRS. This is malicious scam call to scare you to pay her money. I checked IRS website, it says thousand people got scammed and lost over 5 million dollars. If you receive a call from this Indian lady, tell her that you'll contact the police.
I too recieved harrassing phone calls from 202-239-2136 from a gentleman claiming to be Officer Peachtum claiming that I had a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. I know for a fact I have never filed a false income tax. This man got extremely nasty and rude to me cursing me several times threatening to put me in jail for years and take everything I own from me such as property, homes and vehicles and jewelry anything of value if I did not send money immediately to them. He tried to get personal information from me such as my address and social security number and bank information which I totally refused to give to him and that is when he became very angry cursing and threatening me. I am sending letters out to the irs and to the congress to let them know That I have recieved the call and to report this scam. These ppl need to leave us American citizens alone and quit trying to scam us Americans out of money. I am sending out a message on face book and to emails to all my friends and family alerting them about this scam and advise anyone else who recieves this phone call to not become a victim of this scam.
