I just got one from "Officer Marc Cooper, badge # 0284857" Same story as everyone else. When I told him that the IRS does not go back all the years that I "supposedly" submitted fraudulent tax returns, he told me it was a special section #6211A (very garbled). I told him that was bs and that the IRS does not put people in jail for $3690. And I have a tax accountant who prepared my taxes. He then told me I needed a criminal attorney, that this was being filed in the county courthouse within minutes of the phone call. Sheriff would then come to me house and arrest me. He couldn't tell me which county. What is scary tho is that he knew my name.
Called and told me they were issuing a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. Caller did not identify himself nor the company he works for. He also spoke with a middle eastern or Indian (from India) accent.
