I wait, talk to the human, and help them to realize they have the worstest job in the world. Then I add them to my cell phone, but mark the SEND DIRECTLY TO VOICEMAIL box. A few choice words describing her [***] helps too.
Thanks for the info, my fellow 800notes fans! I got this call on my cell just now and immediately relegated to my "SPAM" contact, which does not have a ring tone. That means if they call again, I won't be annoyed.
I find it interesting that a phone-scam outfit is apparently using the same number as a collection agency. Theoretically a collection agency can be a legit business, but I'm guessing a lot of them aren't.
Download the Mr. Number App on your cell phone...it works like magic...now every time a number calls that I have blocked my phone picks up and hangs up in their face, they don't even get the opportunity to leave an annoying voice mail...I truly love Mr. Number
