Just received a call from officer Melvin. Voice mail said that he was from the IRS. Legal notice for tax evasion to be filed at Federal Court House within 15 minutes of his message if I do not call back. Arrest warrant to be issued. Since I have no tax problems I figured it was a scam. Left no case number. Googled 202-864-1620. SCAM
Received a message on my voice mail that they were from the tax and audit department with the IRS. The nature of the call was to make me aware that they have received a legal petition complaint against my name concerning an illegal tax fraud. They are about to take this matter to the federal claim courthouse and issue a warrant for my arrest. BUT I can call them to give them any information regarding this matter. Claimed to be officer Melvin. They obviously have received success from these crazy calls or they would stop doing them. The IRS does NOT call you on the phone to make threats and neither does any government official.
Do as I do, I troll them..
I call the number *69 (area code) then number and just keep calling back. I mute the phone and just play with them till they disconnect the phone. I've done it quite a few times it really pisses them off to the point they shut down the line or change there number. With there lines busy they aren't (steeling) anybody's money. ;)
You could also give them a fake name and let them get to the point to telling you what to pay them and tell them you don't have money for two weeks or none at all, pretend to be nervous about the arrest, and they push to the point where they cuss you and hang up. its fun as hell. Try to carry on the call as long as possible. Record it for playback its great entertainment for friends and YouTube.
