So why dont you leave a message?? I work longs hours and cant answer my phone at work so why not leave a message. At least then people know who it is that is trying to call them.
Oh and response to you stating plastering details all over the net, I dont I am fully aware of marketing fine print, and as I dont want to waste anyones time who trys to get in touch, but still get the calls!
+2031671196 phoned me earlier today on my mobile. Called themselves 'The Claims Guys'. English (assumed) person spoke, wanting to know if I've ever been mis-sold PPI. Told him no and that I was at work, he offered to call me back on Monday, on another number if I wanted. Said I was free this afternoon, he asked me if I was interested in claiming back any PPI I might not have known I was paying. I explained I was 100% sure of not ever having PPI so no chance of claiming anything back. He said fair enough and wished me well then hung up.
Bit dubious that they wanted another contact number, but seemed satisfied enough with my polite decline, remains to be seen whether I'll hear from them again. He certainly wasn't aggressive or rude like others have said. Maybe I was just lucky.
On a sidenote, just wondering what 'no idiot' would consider to be a proper job. I guess he or she believes telesales to be beneath them and probably gets awfully upset when anyone who isn't friends or family phones them. Might be a poor job but it's a job nonetheless.
Ahh so sales isnt a proper job? Without sales departments most companies in the country would go bust within a few months - including yours. That is if you have a job.
Claiming £60milllion back on behalf of its customers can hardly be considered a scam. Try getting your tin foil hat off and get off your high horse whilst your at it.
