At least I am not the only one. I do not have a credit card from Chase, but had one from WaMu three years ago. I no longer have it, but some one had gotten my name and phone number and opened a card. I have called and gone to the Chase bank and have cleared things with me, but have this phone call of whom they say that they are from Chase and want more info from me.
Received a call at 2:03 AM ...Really !!!!! Saturday night ......There will be a call placed to my bank first thing Monday morning. I can't believe people actually fall this SCAM **********************
my elderly parents recieved a call message sd their debot card was frozen and they need to call the security dept.. But when I returned the call is was out of service....hmmm they just called...
Just got the call, same recorded message about the deactivated CC, called the number back, got same disconnected message. How can they make a call form a disconnected phone? Curious to know how the scam works. It seems that just by pressing 1 or 2 they couldn't have access to anything.
