Guy with thick Indian accent, Anglo name (Marcus Swift) called from (203) 340-6932 and passes himself off as an IRS agent. Long story short, the tactic is to "Schock and Awe" then threats - you may ask why - apparently for a list of violations such as "tax evasion", "misinformation", "etc" - I didn't get to the bottom of what he was after as he spent much of his time on the phone trying to intimidate me. May be he's new at this sort of scam :-)

ALERT!!! SCAM...got a call from this number earlier this morning, almost fell for it, but they did not make sense on what "tax evasion" or "miss information" I've violated. They claim themselves as IRS agent, they do have a foreign English accent, and they will send officers to your house to arrest you if you don't try to resolve it and pay them within the next 30-60 minutes. They also would transfer to their supervisor if you refuse to agreed to the charges.
Holy wow with this number! No voicemail but received 4 missed calls within 2 minutes. I'm amazed by the nerve of some people. I didn't pick up because but now that I see the other complaints, I'm actually kind of enjoying him calling me multiple times in a row. No chance I'm picking it up but to scream at him.
Same thing here, a lady with Indian accent called mi this morning saying that she was from the IRS and that there was going to be an arrest order issued to me... blah blah blah I immediately noticed this was a scam so I hanged up on her, she called me like another 5 times, I just let her to go to my voice mail... I am still waiting for the police to come to arrest me for not listening to her ;-)
