I received a call at 10:00 PM with the same claim to be from Microsoft, and that they needed to access my Windows computers. They said they were calling so late because it was "clearly" an emergency. Spoke to a lady with a strong Indian accent. She got snippy with me an hung up when I said I was going to report the number.

They called claiming to be Microsoft. Apparently someone was misusing my IP Address. They tried to get me to go on my computer but I said I didn't have one. He kept trying to tell me to get onto my computer even after I said that. They hung up and called again a couple minutes after using a Private ID. No one answered that time.
