I received a call from 203-388-0775 on 2/26/08. I did not answer, but call showed up on missed call list on cell phone. I am on DNC list. Thanks for the information--I am glad I decided to check number before I tried to return call.
Just got a call from this number. I was on another call when it came in. I tried to click over to it, but they were gone. I called the number back and get a funny tone. Almost like a busy signal. Caller ID says Connecticut. I am in Maryland
Female with incredibly thick, incomprehensible accent said something when I picked up phone. I said, “You must have the wrong number.” Woman indignantly rattled off my number, to which I replied, “That is this number.” She then said something, of which I did not understand a single word; I had the impression she was reading a script. I told her I did not understand a single word, to which she replied, “Sorry,” and hung up in my ear. I was expecting a critical call, else I would not have answered. This has to be a racket. Can’t the authorities go to the phone location and see what’s up? The answer is probably nobody has jurisdiction unless a local person complains.
received call from 203-388-0775 at 11:53am caller id says connecticut. didn't pick up. don't know anyone or do business with anyone in the 203 area code. you can file a complaint if you are on the dnc list at https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. i have filed complaints before and i do think the ftc does something about it. this is the first scam phone call i have received in quite some time
