Energy company telling me about my electric bill and getting it reduced/changed and wanted info... only info I gave was that he was a scammer because although my phone starts with (203) I live in CA!

203-409-0839 identifies itself by local town only on caller I.D. They leave no message and we answer no unknown or unidentified calls. Most likely SCAM.
Listen to message carefully - not from Eversource. Offering to lower your Eversource bill by selling you third party electricity. had one company from Texas calling often, finally answered and asked if they generated electricity in CT. ( wanted to waste their time), person on other end had to ask supervisor. I then asked how I would know if I was buying their electricity. They hung up.
Recorded scam said it was a courtesy call about reducing my Eversource bill. I let the recording run to waste time and about 10 seconds after the recording ended, I didn't predd either 1 or 2 as instructed, and the line went dead. PS - we don't get electricity from Eversource. Scam
