Energy company telling me about my electric bill and getting it reduced/changed and wanted info... only info I gave was that he was a scammer because although my phone starts with (203) I live in CA!

Picked up and I said "hello" quick. Recording came on for eversource discount for electric. Said press 1 for discount. Connected to operator. I hung up. Called them back 1 minute later and it said number was disconnected. A definite SCAM
I get daily calls to my mobile phone from this number. I don't answer it. they don't leave a message. when I try to call back (from office phone). it immediately redirects to a message that says, "This number is not in service."
Indian man's voice stating that he was from Ever source and wanted to lower my rates.. Tried to cite some law about Massachusetts and how I was entitled. Ask Ed me to get my electric bill and after j heard the whole Mass bs.. I told him I was going to report this to local police.. He was rude and tried to insult my intelligence saying that I didn't know the law and what I was talking about..Too bad this guy had the wrong state to be recited me laws from Mass.Sorry buddy.. This is CT... Just be careful with this and report it to help other people not be scammed.. All in a days work!!
