Just got the same call three times in a row! The sound was very bad, I couldn't understand it all but they were threatening me and gave this phone number to call at the end. Why doesn't somebody do something about this???
A man with a terrible phone connection and very broken English called to say that if I didn't contact him, it would be a deliberate act and punishable by law. He said that His name was David Gray and his phone number was 203-502-7674. He said that he was representing the U.S. Dept. of Treasury and that I needed to call him back so that he could "help me". He did not mention any monetary amounts or call me by name. It was a recorded message that repeated at least 3 times before terminating the call. Scam call - it is bogus. Left the following message. (twice so far).
"This message is intended to contact you. My name is David Gray and I'm calling regarding an enforcement actions executed by U.S. Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring that will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 203 502 7674. I repeat 203 502 7674. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you thank you."
