I got a call from the 52549693 a few times and picked up today. Some guy telling me he was from the US government and I got a 7,000$ grant. He then told me my name and address and asked for my marital status and age. I was already suspicious. When he next asked for my bank information, I hung up on him and now that stupid number keeps ringing my phone....
So now I know what this bull 52549693 number that calls my phone about 4-5 times a day on average is. Next time I plan on answering it, cutting them off before they can say anything an informing them I will be having their calls traced through the authorities if they ever call my number again.
I just received this same scam call. $7000 for being a good citizen. Whatever! Same Indian guy, same # to call. He asked my date of birth. I told him "If you are with the goverment you know my date of birth." He gave me a few expressive word an hung up on me.
