Wow I received a phone call from a gentleman called joe lambert with a thick accent saying I was chosen for a grant from the government for 7,000 gave me a confirmation of pk5006 told me to call Helen Jackson at 202-738-1189 she said so you want it in cash good you can go to the nearest western union but I have to pay a deposit of 320. And it would be refunded to me I then told her I don't have that right now but I would have it on the sixth she said that's fine she can hold it till then I then hung up from her went onto my iPad to look this up and low and behold I found so many people saying the same thing I then called her back and told I know your a scam she hung up and then I called joe back and it sounded like a fax machine wow

My number was 202-6979816 same thing 7000 in grant and someone Spanish name Fiona and her manager mike Parker

Same thing happened to me it's a scam! I gave them 290$ through western union and got no money in return! Then they have the nerve to call me back sayin the gov can't release that much money!They said I would have to send 639$ to get the 8000$! Such a load of crap these people need to be stopped! The numbers that called me were 202-470-0883 and 202-657-6862. Please let me know if that is scam numbers also!

I got the same number u have. When i threatened the person on the phone he said he has my information and he can really mess me up in so many words. They also asked me for $290 but i decided to do some research first and found all these comments. He got very offended when i told him i did not believe him. I this is very bad is there anything we can do to stop these people?

Yes it's a total scam.  Been going around for years now.  Indian telephone scammers. Ignore 'em and don't give 'em any financial information.
