I received a call about getting sued by the IRS, I just deleted the message. This is the 2nd time I have received this. Someone should sue them for slander.
Left me a message at 3:30pm this afternoon. Said that IRS was filing a lawsuit against us (didn't mention a name on the voicemail, and there are two of us here that work). This 206 number was the number they said to call. After reading about 5 other posts from today about the same thing it's obviously a scam, and won't bother calling them back (thanks to everyone else that also posted today).
was called today & a phone recording said they are the IRS there is a law suit against you . Call this number 206-201-2671 ..Scammers I'm not calling you back EVER !!!
2062012671 said that I was being sued by the IRS. I received calls similar from some person in California. It was his home phone... I called him from the east coast and woke his a_ _ up! H&R Block told me that the IRS has other ways - means to get your attention... generally not only by phone.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Scam... left a message that I needed to call 206-201-2672... DO NOT respond, they claim to be the IRS and wanted my credit card. Please DO NOT even dial their number as they will continue to call.
