Got the same thing as others have described - computer voice recording left on my answering machine saying it was the IRS and I am about to be charged with tax fraud and "someone from the courthouse is likely going to come arrest me" unless I called this number back. Didn't seem legit for a second.
This Indian or Pakistan man is an ignorant scanner faking to be an irs agent.
If apprehended he will face much more than a stiff fin. Impersonating a federal agent is a federal offence.
He is located in the state of Washington around Bainbridge.
Call the state of Washington an make a formal complaint.
Lets get him!
Most of these calls are coming from India, not the US. The numbers you see on your phone have been spoofed to make you think its really coming from the real IRS and Washington when its not..
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
