Came home from work and found an auto-mated message on the land line stating that we were being sued by the IRS and were told to call back for more information. It freaked me out for a moment and I contacted my husband whom quickly put my perspective back into reality and told me to research the number. Behold, I read many reviews about this scam and I felt like an idiot for falling for it, even if it was just for a minute. Do not answer calls from this number and don't call back. The police has informed me to block the number as well.
They're a fraud number. Says they're the IRS and say you owe all this money and threaten you with the cops and taking all your money and everything but they're fraud.
Received a call from this number. Female voice stated that this was a "final notice" from the IRS, that they were suing me for money owed, I MUST call this number immediately. I know the IRS doesn't make that kind of call, so I knew immediately that it was a fraud. I am also reporting this to them.
"my last chance to correct the lawsuit against IRS." I told them they are messing with the wrong people, you criminals you have been reported!
I wrote an email to "TIGTA.GOV" inspector general. Fill in your fraud phone call. Everyone who gets these criminals should file a report to the Inspector General
