Just got a call from this number and since I didn't recognize it let it go to voice mail. Message was same as everyone else. I got on internet to check it out and so glad I did. Thanks everyone! Should we call the police about this? IRS knows where we live for sure so, has to be a scam.
Message says it's the IRS, and they are going to open a lawsuit against me, and I should call this number. After I calmed down, I realized it was probably a scam. So right: call is from Washington state, not Washington, DC. Also, caller is "Unavailable". PS, why don't you have Scammer in your list of Call Types?
I received a call from 206-317-1701 with the same threat of lawsuit, I immediately saw it as a scam, I would hope the IRS would never handle anything in the SLOPPY manner this message was presented.
I agree that scammers are scummers.
