My wife's cel phone 714-305-2769 just received a threatening phone call from this number via a recording that there's tax fraud issue. I personally am in the Information Security profession and this phone call if a scam. They did not say what company they represent
My fiance just got the same call a few different numbers about an hour or two ago the first number was 202-340-5601 and the second number they called from was 206-567-7680 this is not the IRS the IRS will not call from a cell phone. I'm noticing on this feed that everybody's getting the same calls at the same time. So this must be a scam. Anybody that has any real information on this please let me know because me and my fiance are worried that this is real.
Received a call from 206-567-7680, caller id shows to be out of Vashon, WA. I never answer out of state calls so they left a voicemail message using an automated digital voice saying they were calling about tax fraud and to call them before I go to jail. They couldn't sound any more ridiculously NOT credible. I can't believe people actually fall for these scams but apparently they do because they keep doing them.

This is a scam.they have been calling my house for the last 3 yrs. about 3 times a year. The constant threat of legal action and arrest if I don't straighten it out with them. Have not been arrested as of yet and don't think I ever will. Pain in the butt scam but that's all it is. I now just screen my calls and delete their threatening messages with a good laugh. Relax !!!
