Its some fundraising organization. They wouldn't state their name. They call me every morning at the same time and ask for me, and when told that I am not home and asked for their name, they hang up.
Picked up the phone and pretended that I didn't speak English. A recorded message started that said "police form # " and listed a bunch of numbers (in a southern accent). Nutso even for scammers
called the number and got weird music, then a young womans voice and she gave a long speech about buisness hours and no one to take call , but if you continue it asks if you would like to be added to their no call list! wooot! sooo, I added my number . It says it can take up to 72 hours. Something about an orginaztion they work for. Sounds like they make calls for other peopel. Anyway, I tired stopping the call and we'll see what happens
Just received the recorded/robotic type message that asked for my name; then went into a fundraising spiel for law enforcement officers. They called my work number which I suppose was provided to them by those anonymous callers that hang up when I answer. I suspect they determine if its a good number for selling since I answered and now I get this call. I hung up before the spiel was complete.
