called here in washing state, thanks to caller id I can ignore them. what a nuisance! wont give to any charity ,over the phone or that sends unwanted junk in the mail. hard to know who is legit now days. some poor souls must fall for it or they would stop.
got a call and ask for my husband. He's not here, they will not talk to me. Caller ID says AmericanBC Fund. I think it is a scammer looking for money. We hang up on any number we don't like.
Breast cancer fund collection, claims to be an "official fund raiser" in the message they leave on the phone. They never give up. I got 26 calls from them in the last 7 days - give it up already. Wish I had the ability to block numbers. Also their lengthy "ad-like" messages on my machine are so long, that in 2 days, it fills my machine. A$$holes.
