called here in washing state, thanks to caller id I can ignore them. what a nuisance! wont give to any charity ,over the phone or that sends unwanted junk in the mail. hard to know who is legit now days. some poor souls must fall for it or they would stop.
This number called me at 6:45 PM. After I said, "Hello," the young lady introduced herself, made small talk, then asked me if I bathe regularly. Huh? Like every other normal person, I said, "sure, about once a week." She let out a nervous giggle, then composed herself. She asked if I had any unwashed personal items that I would be willing to part with. I'm starting to wonder about this. I replied, "you mean, like a hat?" Silence. "No sir, we are looking to purchase well-worn men's underwear and socks." She told me that they are a supplier of "Asian Sniff-Kink," and would pay me $3 for boxer shorts or $5 for whitey-tighties. All I have to do is send them to her in individual zipper bags, along with my VISA card for processing purposes.
"Easy money items" might show up at a crime scene to distract police or protect crooked police. I had such items stolen out of my locker at the Dover recreation department. Wouldn't sell my underwear at any price to someone I didn't know.
Unfortunately I wasn't here to pick up the phone. Seems that we are getting more calls lately that supposedly have something to do with breast cancer. Most are scams anyway but it's fun to play games with them. I'm sure they will call back so I will get another chance.
