Just got a call and voicemail from this number. The message got cut off but it was a computer-generated women's voice asking me to call them back (same number) in order to access my "grant".
How can I stop this? I regularly get 4-5 of these types of calls every week.
Called but left no message. Caller ID said "Everglades, FL.". Interesting that just about every call I ever got from Florida area codes was a scammer or a debt collector trying to collect on a debt that wasn't mine. Looks like this call is no exception. Scumbags.
I received a call from this number, but I did not answer it and they didn't leave a message. I Googled the number and found this forum. Not wanting another call from them, I called back to say "I googled this number and seen it was a scam, please take me off your list", but after a male voice answered, all I got out was "I googled your number and seen it was a scam..." and then there was a click as he had hung up on me. Unfortunately, I did not catch the name of the company. I get these occasionally so I will remember next time to make sure I know what the name of the company is.
