Confused in Tx
Got a call from 281-201-0910.  Automated message stated that "unusual activity detected on your bank card and it has been deactivated."  Then it said "it is easy to reactivate your card.  we will ask you for three pieces of information."  Then it asked for my bank card number....yeah right, like I'm going to enter that.  I hung up at this point, so I don't know what other info they would have asked for.  Anyway, if there really is fraudulent activity on my card, I certainly don't want to reactivate it, duh.  I pretty sure the machine said "citibank debit card" but it was garbled so I may have not heard correctly (I've never banked with Citibank).  Anyway, sounds like a phishing scheme to me.  I looked up the number on the internet and it says its from SourceSentry, which also doesn't make sense (can you disguise your real number with a fake through caller ID?).
