This won't stop. They've been calling me about lowering my credit card rate for about a year now. When I asked how they got my cell # they would hang up. If I would start by saying not to call me anymore, they'd hang up. Once I went thru with it, just to see what it was all about, & when asked what my credit card debt was, I told them about $2000 & he said I didn't qualify. I was hoping that would be the end. It wasn't. Just today I recieved another call & when I told him my debt amount was between 1500 to 2000 the phone went dead. He hung up on me. I'm getting real sick of this. I don't know how they got my cell #, I don't give this # out to anyone.
have you ever looked up your phone number through google to see how many places have access to your cell number? Its unreal.......very disturbing to me at least. Cell Phones aren't in the phone book...but they sure are online. :(
I got a call from them yesterday. Just as described above. When I asked who she was she hung up. I assume this is someone stealing credit card information so I reported them to the FBI.
Anyone know who you can report numbers like these to. I sleep days and work nights so It's very irritating to get woke up for nonsense like this. It's obvious from other postings that asking to be taken off their list won't work. Is there a federal agency to report stuff like this to? I consider this a harassing call.
