Recorded message - press 9 to lower your credit card rates. They don't tell who they are, just that they are calling about your "accounts." We're on the do not call list, so they shouldn't be calling us. Suspect this is not on the up and up!
I did some google research (Wikipedia)and betcha that if IS THAT SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION they will mark this as an abusive post as well as the earlier one from us.
it was a recorded message stating there was nothing wrong with my credit card account but that I qualified for a lower interest rate. It also stated for me to call the number back or punch 9 to speak to someone about lowering my interest rate. When I pushed 9 the phone immediately gave a fast busy signal.
same thing just happened to me, i hit 9 but a rep came on the phone and said "you want to lower your credit card rate is this correct" I said "NO" take my number off your call list and he said "don't press Fu***** again. there has to be a way to stop these calls
I have been on the National Do Not Call Register since it was activated. I have been called several times by this automated number and it left messages. The recording says there is no problem with your account, but you can lower your interest rate. Press 9 to talk to a representative. I pressed 9 and asked why I was being called. The woman immediately hung up on me. I tried calling the number captured on my caller ID and it wouldn't go through. God I hate telemarketers.
