I also received a call to lower interest rate. When I pushed 9 and "Nick" answered, I asked what credit card company he was with and he hung up.

Received a message from this number telling me the same thing.  Before I called them back....I checked this site.  Thank goodness - sounds like a scam!

They called here, left a blank message on my answering machine.

Same message.  I eonder whom card services is.  Did not press 9.  I then got the number and came here to investigate.

I received the call from this number at 1133MT on 2 June 2009. I acknowledged the number by pressing "9". I got a live operator. I asked what
company he was with and he said "Account Services". I asked what credit card company he was with and he said "We lower the interest rates on Visa and Master Card" and addressed me by my surname. I replied "I'm on the National Do No Call list" and before I could say anything else he hung up.
