just had a call from this number. Let my ans. machine take the call. As usual no call back number or message left.This is the first, yet know there will be more. I too am on the National no call list. What good does it do to get on the list, if we continue to be harrassed by these type calls?

I picked up and there was no one there.
silence from an UNKNOWN NAME ???.
These zombie calls are bothersome. We seem to getting more and more of them 6-10 a week, sometimes 8 in one day.
I am an amputee and it is basically painful even just to walk, the short distance across the living room to pick up the phone hurts
WHY DO WE EVEN HAVE THE FTC DO NOT CALL list and telemarketer laws;
WHEN THESE CON ARTIST AND SCOFF LAWS CAN REPEATEDLY JUST IGNORE THE LAWS WITH NO CONSEQUENCES OR PENALTY.
THE FTC NEEDS TO INCREASE THE CRIMINAL PENALTIES FOR THESE REPEAT AND CHRONIC OFFENDERS. THIS WOULD MEAN REAL JAIL TIME FOR THESE COMPANIES THAT JUST IGNORE THE FTC LAWS. i.e.SCAM CAR WARRANTIES, CREDIT CARD ID THEFT ETC.
REPEAT OFFENDERS SHOULD BE LOOKING AT FEDERAL PRISON SENTENCES HARD TIME, OF TEN TO TWENTY YEARS !
I too am on the "Do Not Call" list. If you're on the list, be sure and report this to www.donotcall.gov. I got a call from a federal attorney a few years ago regarding one of my reports. She was investigating one of the numbers I'd reported. She said she could not discuss the case with me, but I got the impression that they try to investigate big violators, so while an individual report may not help, a volume of reports may cause an investigation into the violator.
We have received numerous calls from this number - we do not pick up the phone because it looks strange "000" - It is very annoying - sometimes the calls come late in the evening after we are already in bed or early in the morning before we get up. How can this be stopped? We are on the "do not call" list also.
