Got a call from 1-305-000-5532 they said they were cardmember services. To press 9 to lower my interest on credit card. ( funny because I have no credit cards) I pressed 9 so I could yell at them for calling. When you press 9 it seems to dial to another number. Some guy answered and asked if I pressed 9 to lower my interest. I said NO I pressed 9 to tell you JackOFFS to quit calling me. Then I hung up. These people spoof their incoming number so we'll never know where or who they are because I got a similar call last week but a different number.
This is the same type of phone calls that we used to get about car warranties.
call from same number, i tried to get info by pressing 9 and it seeemed to me it was somehow rerouted to a cell phone. Definitely more than one person in the room and the guy started cursing pretty and threatening me - unfortunately I didn't get it recorded this time.
when I answered the phone, I got a recorded message telling me that they were calling about my credit card. Then they said there was nothing wrong with my credit card account but to press #9 for lower rates.
I did not need this service but pressed #9 to speak to a live person. When he answered, I asked him how I could be taken OFF his list and his answer was... DONT PICK UP YOUR PHONE!! I told him I was on the DNC list and he hung up.
