This number called my mother. She stated my mom did not appear in court yesterday in hillside. She had our address which we found weird. My mother told her she doesn't know what she is speaking about and the lady hung up. My mom called back and the lady from the "collectors company" answered with a simple hello which i find very odd. The lady was extremely rude telling my mom to wait on more information and hung up. My mom suffers from anxiety and she's highly nervous now thinking she owes money. This is very sad that people can be so cruel in this world. Maybe they should get real jobs instead of stealing people's information.
Beware- this woman is on the attack again! I just got a frantic call from a my grandma in Florida with the same exact story as posted here, though the woman had changed her story a little. Now, her name is "Natalia Ramirez" and she is supposedly a lawyer of the Department of Collections. She will say that there is a collection against you and that you failed to appear at a court hearing in front of "Judge Gustavo Bermudez" and that now she will ruin your credit and collect the judgment. Supposedly, it was for purchasing products worth $5,000 that were never paid for. She alluded that it was beauty products that my grandmother had bought, but would not say from what company or when. DO NOT give out any of your information to this person.
This woman is very rude, yelled at my grandma for "speaking over her and interrupting her", speaks English and Spanish, and needs to be reported. Once I get sometime, I will do so. Also, she called from a different number this time (305) 330-6502, but since she uses the same story I was able to find this discussion thread.
