Officer James is at it again - I was informed I had a payday loan I never paid back -- i didn'r catch the name of the company but not taking out a loan I knew what it was a co worker got caught up in one - I told him I didn't have a loan out and he said " Are you sure" then hung up.

What is the latest on a company called UNLC collections claiming that you owe a payday loan from EZLoan?
The number they use is 916-253-0812 and they called me two days in a row - one accent sounded heavy Chinese and the other accent Indian. I spoke to them twice. The fist guy threatened with being taken to court when I refused to pay. On my request to obtain proof that there is actually an account in my name and that I want to file a dispute I was told to call back after, but then no one answered the phone anymore.
I will file a police report and explain this situation to them. Has anyone else been called by these guys lately ad what action did you take?
I just received an "unknown" call on my cell phone. I answer and some one from an unknown company in a thick Indian accent advised me to contact 305-390-0607 regarding a lawsuit from EZLoan. I asked for details on this loan, which I have never taken out a loan before, and he then gave the phone to another person to explain. They were unable to provide me for any details and when I requested the address in which this loan was rendered, that was unknown as well.
These callers are harrassers and should be treated as such. the best thing I can recommend to stop it all is to generate enough background noise to confuse them.

I just received a call from 972-332-2240. My caller ID showed I was receiving a call from "0000". I listened to a message that might have well been in a foriegn language as I could not understand a single word other than the call back number. I called and spoke with an "Officer Joe". He told me I was being sued by someplace that I had apparently taken a loan from and never paid back in the amount of $389. I asked him what the last four digits were of the SSN in question and he could not give me an answer. Frightenly enough, he did have my cell phone number and my address. I asked him to mail me what ever documentation he had regarding this "loan" from someplace called Easy Loan. He said it would take about a week. Sounds like B.S to me...I will be contacting all three credit reporting agencies and whomever else I can think of to help. Perhaps local law enforcement.
