Got a call at 7:03am on Saturday morning saying this is the IRS Internal Revenue Service. This is your final notice. We are taking legal action against you. You must call 313-327-3030 immediately.
I did not recognize that area code and the fact that no agent left their name and they identified themselves as the IRS and Internal Revenue Service sent up red flag after red flag. They also did not address me by name. Due to privacy laws, unless there is a written waiver they cannot leave such a message on an answering machine. So nothing about this call rang true. I called IRS directly. It is a fraud. Do not Respond.

http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml and send in a full report each time you get a call from these people.
Regarding this 313- No. I also got a phone call just yesterday....... however, the caller ID no. on my TV screen indicated it was Walgreen's calling me, however the no. on the screen was shown as 224-300-5730. The voice message also indicated IRS is filing a suit against me.
