I received the call today 10/14/15 at 4:00 p.m. Please stop this scam! I was asked to call 314-449-9340 because a lawsuit has been filed against me by the IRS. I called the number and asked for their mailing address to give to our sheriff's office and the foreign lady hung up on me. She could barely speak English so I was surprised she could understand what I said.
Also got a voice mail from this # stating the IRS was initiating a lawsuit against me. I will say my heart lept. Not cool. Have never received anything ever from the IRS except my refund! I was happy to read your postings.
