Made the mistake of giving my cell number to an Edward Jones Salesman who was going door to door. Now the home office calls quite often wanting me to set up an appointment with a local branch. I don't answer the phone. Very annoying.
I think it might be a way for Edward Jones to call from a discrete line too--my financial advisor always calls from it and leaves a voicemail with her direct line. But when she calls it shows this number.
