Called at 3:45pm, Nobody on the line, but a lot of other conversations going on in the background, i.e. a very busy phone bank, I think. I said hello 3 times and they hung up. Very annoying.
A gentleman called from this number. No one was home to answer so he left a message, repeatedly attempting to pronounce my last name. He did not say anything but my last name. He went silent for about 10 seconds. The only noise I heard were many voices chatting in the background then he hung up. Seemed very unprofessional for a charity service!
Called our house at 5:45 pm, answered and no one said anything. I finally hung up. 314-549-5067 It is very upsetting because I have family in that area but this is not any of their numbers. Wish it would stop if it is a fundraiser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care IF these folks aren't scammers ... they are as annoying as the criminals who tend to call. AM on the DNC list, and I don't want to be constantly pestered by all of the phone calls. We get hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of calls ... mostly from scamms. Will NEVER, EVER, give to a charity if they pester us via phone. Before we had the ability to block calls, we were getting at least 14 unwanted calls a days. This is simply a form of harassment. Oh BTW, these days the scammers pretend to be a legit charity .... so if someone calls you, you have NO idea as to who they actually are. Give out your credit card number at your own peril.
This IS a scam! We tend to get the scam calls in batches .... and this call ended up to be part of the scam batch for today. Don't care who they are pretending to be .... they are crooks wanting to steal your money in reality.
